A problem posed when working with viscous liquids such as tween,
glycerol, thick cell lysates, or thick tissue homogenates is Pipetting
reliability due to the inability to draw or dispense fluid in a
uniform fashion. Our large orifice tips are perfect for working
with viscous materials because the distal-end orifice is nearly
70 percent larger than that of standard pipet tips, providing the
flexibility required to work with difficult to handle fluids.
These tips are also ideal for working with fragile cell lines,
to help avoid shearing of the cells as they are aspirated and dispensed.
