 Automated Liquid Handling / Robotic Tips Molecular BioProducts offers a wide range of pipet tips for automated robotic workstations to help round out your liquid handling portfolio. In this section, you will find tips for many of the Beckman, PerkinElmer/ Packard, Tecan, and Caliper/Zymark platforms. Molecular BioProducts is proud to be the exclusive manufacturer of Zymark Tempo Certified pipet tips - these pipet tips are certified by Caliper/Zymark for use on their workstations. All robotic tips presented in this section are packaged in sturdy, specially designed racks that are able to withstand the extreme forces exerted upon them by the workstations. All tips are manufactured out of the highest grades of virgin polypropylene and undergo the most vigorous QC/QA testing in the industry. Many automated workstations that utilize multi-channel heads are frequently used in-conjunction with 96-well, 384-well or 1536-well plates. This is why automated workstation tips must adhere to tolerances that are much tighter than those of standard pipet tips. It has been our experience that autoclaving tips designed for automated workstations can warp the tips slightly, causing them to miss the wells in the plate. We recommend purchasing pre-sterilized product to avoid the autoclave completely. All sterile tips are certified to be DNase, RNase, DNA, pyrogen and ATP free. Non-sterile tips are certified to be RNase and DNase free. |
