On-Site Temperature & Humidity Instrument Calibration Services
Transcat offers the temperature and humidity calibration services your equipment requires to maintain FDA-compliance – and in the flexibility of your own location. Whether your oven, freezer, chart recorder, or other temperature device requires calibration, our team has the accreditation, expertise, and service offering to fit your needs.
For all on-site temperature and humidity instrument calibration, we offer data sets that can include “as found” data, “as left” data, or both depending on the service selected. Our standard service utilizes a three-point measurement structure where feasible. The additional calibration service allows for specification of custom calibration points or parameters outside the standard three-point structure and is available for all instruments.
Each instrument is individually calibrated against equipment whose calibration is traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

On-Site Temperature Calibration Services

On-site temperature calibration services from Transcat provide a complete, comprehensive service designed to provide the lowest possible measurement uncertainties for thermistors, thermocouples, liquid-in-glass thermometers, bimetal thermometers, Meter and Probes, and RTDs. Temperature calibration services are performed using a direct comparison (-80ºC to 350ºC) method.
All calibrations are performed using the comparison method and utilize a highly accurate primary standard referenced back to the ITS-90 temperature scale.
On-Site Oven and Furnace Calibration
Industrial ovens and furnaces rely on temperature accuracy to properly cure, dry, or heat items to quality or performance specifications. To achieve temperature accuracy and efficiency for your industrial oven or furnace, you can rely on our service technicians to provide complete, fully compliant calibration services. Depending on your requirements, you can choose between our standard or custom on-site calibration services.
On-Site Freezer and Refrigerator Calibration and Mapping
Similar to oven and furnace calibration services, our on-site freezer and refrigerator calibration services ensure your equipment is functioning at its most accurate and efficient temperature. As the FDA regulatory requirements can be strict – either GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) or GLP (Good Laboratory Processes) – it’s imperative your equipment is regularly calibrated by a quality vendor. Our team delivers the confidence you need by capturing multiple data points within your freezer or refrigeration equipment through our standard or custom on-site calibration services.

On-Site Humidity Calibration Services

We provide a complete, fully compliant calibration service for most humidity calibration needs. Our extensive on-site humidity calibration services can also be custom-tailored to meet your specific requirements.
Our calibration services cover a wide variety of humidity instruments:
- Data Loggers
- Hygrothermographs
- Probes and Sensors
- Hygrometers
- Humidity Generators
- Humidity Chambers
Our in-lab calibration system utilizes a multi-range, controlled temperature and humidity environmental chamber with a comparison to a calibrated and certified standard traceable to SI units through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). At your facility, we use the ambient environment and a direct comparison to our certified standard.
On-Site Chart Recorder Calibration
Chart recorders are crucial equipment for monitoring temperature and humidity in production and laboratory environments. As with other industrial equipment, the FDA publishes standards on chart recorder performance and accuracy to which the equipment must be held. Whether paperless, strip, or circular type chart recorders, our on-site calibration services will ensure your equipment delivers accurate temperature and humidity measurements.
At Transcat, we understand the complexity of your processes and the necessity of high-quality calibration services to maintain accuracy. Contact us today to discuss your on-site temperature or humidity instrument calibration service needs.
